The order table has 7 primary key columns I know a hell of a lot. Target is to have two APEX-pages: one todisplay the possible orders in an interactive report with the possibility to open the second page with the possibility to actually place an order.

To reduce the problem of the 7 primary forreign key columns, I have added one colum to both tables, that contains the value of all seven columns.

30m sprint test

APEX is able to handle one column, but not seven. To get this done, I have created a report with a form on a table. When both pages use the same table, all works fine. The consequence is that I can see all available orders but when I click the apex-edit-pencil displayed left from the records, the other page is opened with no data in it. The great challenge I have to solve until tomorrow is to get the detail form to show the record from the master report. A good start would be to know how to put my finger on the apex-edit-pencil, that I can see during run time, but not during design time.

It did not do the whole trick, but helped a bit. What I need more is to pass several parameter values from one page to another. The first page uses table one and the called page table two.

In Oracle Forms I would use a parameter list to fill some of the items in the called form. In the called form then, I would check in a pre-form-trigger if the form is called from this one page and if it were, fill the items in the blocks. You can pass multiple parameters from one page to another utilizing the "Target" button, if that is what you want. I have not been able to look at it sooner, due to some internet-related problems. I have searched on Google and found a solution :. But it seems it's only working for numbers. When I try passing a string value it always returns wrong number format. It will literally put the value of the column for that row in the string. When the value is a number, it will generate. A good start is always using a browser with the correct tools which will allow you to inspect elements, html, dom, javascript, css, An example is the Firebug plugin for Firefox.

Targeting values in a report requires you to know its markup which you can find by inspecting the generated page html. Keep in mind that page and region templates can make a difference depending on the theme you are using.

If you are stuck on this, post a new question about it and provide html and an explanation of what you are trying to get at. This question is an example of targetting values in a table: How to select a row element value from Oracle APEX 4 Classic Report row element from a table tags. Learn more.

I want to set the filter in the later one with a value from the first one. I used a column of type Link then clicked on Target button to set the page number like this:. It doesn't work. Also consider other issues: do you have more than one IR on the page?

You'll need to reference the correct one. Is your generated link correct? Inspect it! I found what was causing the filter not to work. I was trying to filter a column of type "link".

It doesn't work when it's a "link", but it does when it's "plain text".

So now you know. Here's how it's looking For me it works like this: I created an Item display only source type: null on the second page with the second IR. Then again on the second page with the second IR you will put something like this in the Region Source:.

Using APEX 5. I have an interactive report and want to replace the default filter below to have a text field and user enter a value and click search. Hi, Any reason why you want to do that? The IR filter are performant and have more feactures that a custom filter. The link does not open anything relevant to IR. The client wants the year to entered as a search parameter in a text field. That means the client don't need the Search field for IR?

And later user and change the text field value and trigger a search. It solves the problem partiallly, the issue I face is when user submits second search criteria from the first. The filters on same field appears number of times. Is it possible to check the field is already in the search criteria and just overwrite it with new value. Maybe you should set the Filter for this column to "NO"?

Maybe it will works for you. But by me al is working fine. Repeat this process with another value. You have two filter conditions on the same field. It is an issue in terms of usability, is there a way to overwrite the filter for the same column.

Please advise. The IR Search works like so.

Diablo 2 unperm items shop

Is not an Issue in Terms of usability. In the group you found, you can still look in this small group. When you want to have the filter one Time, you can not have that nice result.
